Our partnership with Operation Food Search allows us to provide free lunch (Monday-Friday) to school aged children. This is FREE but we ask that you sign up in advance to help us plan accordingly.

FAQs

1. What are the hours of the Chill Zone? 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Monday-Friday

2. Is there really a free lunch provided? Yes! Thanks to our partnership with Operation Food Search we are excited to be able to provide lunch daily.

3. Will there be activities during this time? Yes, we will have different activities set up. Kids can play games, do art projects, draw, or just chill.

4. Will there be structured activities? There will be days when kids can participate in structured activities led by adults or can do activities independently. All children will be supervised in the same large area where lunch will be served.

5. Do we need to stay with the kids during this time or can we drop them off? We ask that you do not stay with your child during this time. It's important that they are not dropped off before 11:00 a.m. and are picked up no later than 1:00 p.m.

6. What time is lunch served? Lunch will be served between 12:00 p.m. - 12:30 p.m.

7. Can we just pick up the lunch and leave? Operation Food Search requires children to eat lunch at the serving location.

8. Can we get lunches for family members at home and/or adults? No, lunches are only for school aged children and as previously mentioned to be eaten on site.

9. Do we have to sign up for the entire summer/every day? This is a flexible program. Your child can come daily, every now and then, what ever works in your schedule. We just ask you give us an idea of how often your child will be joining us so we can have enough meals for all participants.

10. What can my child expect each day? Your child can expect a pleasant atmosphere with daily games, activities, and a nutritious lunch served between 12:00 p.m. - 12:30 p.m. daily.

Informed Consent and Acknowledgement

I hereby give my approval for my child’s participation in any and all activities prepared by Stomp the World during the Chill Zone. In exchange for the acceptance of my child’s candidacy by Stomp the World, I assume all risk and hazards incidental to the conduct of the activities, and release, absolve and hold harmless Stomp the World, and all its representatives and volunteers from any and all liability for injuries to my child arising out of traveling to, participating in, or returning from all activities.

In case of injury to my child, I hereby waive all claims against Stomp the World, including all staff members, volunteers, all participants, sponsoring agencies, advertisers, and, if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the event. There is a risk of being injured that is inherent in all activities.

Medical Release and Authorization

As Parent/Guardian of my child, I hereby authorize the diagnosis and treatment by a qualified and licensed medical professional, of the minor child, in the event of a medical emergency, which in the opinion of the attending medical professional, requires immediate attention to prevent further endangerment of the minor’s life, physical disfigurement, physical impairment, or other undue pain, suffering or discomfort, if delayed.

Permission is hereby granted to the attending physician to proceed with any medical or minor surgical treatment, x-ray examination and immunizations for my child. In the event of an emergency arising out of serious illness, the need for major surgery, or significant accidental injury, I understand that every attempt will be made by the attending physician to contact me in the most expeditious way possible. This authorization is granted only after a reasonable effort has been made to reach me.

Permission is also granted to the Stomp the World, and its affiliates including Directors, Respresentativs and Volunteers, to provide the needed emergency treatment prior to my child’s admission to the medical facility.

This release is authorized and executed of my own free will, with the sole purpose of authorizing medical treatment under emergency circumstances, for the protection of life and limb of my child, in my absence.
